LOOKOUT NOTICE AGAINST TWO SUSPECTS IN THE BALI MURDER CASE

PANJIM: The crime branch on Saturday issued a look out circular against two prime accused involved in the murder of two tribals in Bali village. Narendra Faldesai and Prashant Faldesai, who are being probed in connection with the murder of two tribal leaders burnt alive on May 25, did not respond to the frequent summons, the police said.
The duo was supposed to appear before crime branch today but did not turn up. Even the enquiry by the crime branch at their residences revealed that they were untraceable following which a 'look out' notice was issued against them, they said.
The notice implies restraining the duo from crossing the state borders and leaving the country.
Police have already arrested Dipak Faldesai, who is alleged to be part of the mob that set ablaze Manguesh Gaonkar and Dilip Velip during the agitation by tribals demanding reservation in government jobs at Bali village.
Meanwhile, the crime branch today arrested Govind Gawde and Malu Velip of the United Tribal Associations Alliance (UTAA), which spearheaded the agitation on May 25, on charges of rioting and attempt to murder.
The duo was charged for inciting the mob that had gone on the rampage after police caned them. Around 6,000 tribals had in the last month blocked national highway and railway crossing for their demands. –PTI
