BBSM DECIDES TO ACT AGAINST THE CHIEF MINISTER INRE TO MOI

PANJIM: Holding chief minister Digambar Kamat responsible for the change in the medium of instruction (MoI) at the primary level, Bharatiya Basha Suraksha Manch (BBSM) has decided to gather public opinion against him to defeat him in the next assembly elections.
BBSM member and former Margao MLA Uday Bhembre said, "Kamat's actions have been dangerous to Goa. Some of his policies have been detrimental to the state and it may be necessary to build up public opinion against all those responsible and make sure they are defeated at the next assembly polls."
BBSM labelled Kamat the "most responsible" for the decision to change the medium of instruction in the state. "Kamat took the initiative and went to Delhi and then tried to justify it."
Stating that BBSM was examining the legal implications before fighting the MoI battle in court, Bhembre said, "We have to get proactive in this case, we will go to court against the government decision on MoI once we study the legal angles of the case."
BBSM convenor Shashikala Kakodkar member Naguesh Karmali and Bhembre have resigned from the government-constituted Goa's Golden Jubilee Celebration Advisory Committee formed to celebrate 50 years of liberation, Kakdokar said.
"After this confusion, the chief minister has no right to celebrate the 50th year of Goa's liberation and hence we have resigned," said Kakodkar.  Bhembre has also decided to return his state cultural award and Shenoi Goembab award in protest against the change in the medium of instruction

Mr. Bembre is either senile or gone blind. The MOI issue is already in the High Court. If he has done his Law and is a lawyer by his own merits, why not petition the High Court to be included as respondents in the same Petition? Why give empty talks? Do you have the GUTS? Or do you and your BBSM think that after three decades or so of pushing down Goans throat Marathi & Maratisized Konkani, the public have become morons as you wanted them to be?

Excellent Anon!   Yes Let them Goa to Court or  to Delhi when the RTE act originated which does not say that English should not be given grants while promoting regional languages.
When the Court is seized over a subjudice matter any action of BBSM like calling for another bandh or any other form of agitation is highly illegal
