MARGAO: Prashant Juveker, an accused in the Margao bomb blast case, was on Saturday produced before principal district and sessions judge, South Goa, Mr U V Bakre and 14 days judicial custody was taken.
He was produced before court by the officials of National Investigation Agency (NIA) and prayer for further remand was made, which was granted by the court.
Earlier on Friday, NIA had produced another accused, Prashant Ashteker before court and 14 days remand was obtained. Other accused in the case, Vinay Talekar, Vinayak Patil, Dhananjay Ashtekar and Dilip Mangaonkar, are also serving remand in judicial custody.
While NIA has filed a chargesheet against these four accused, Prashant Ashteker and Prashant Juveker are yet to be chargesheeted.
