MARGAO: Stung by criticism against him by BJP minorities' cell chief Shaikh Jina, PWD minister Churchill Alemao arranged for his grassroots camp leaders to sing paeans to him at a press conference in Margao on Thursday, while he himself was away in the national capital.
Alemao's trusted lieutenant and former MLA Farrel Furtado, Navelim sarpanch Paul Periera, Rundamol sarpanch Avita Naik and former sarpanch and current panch of Aquem Baixo panchayat Ashok Shirodkar addressed reporters refuting Jina's allegations that Alemao had not carried out real development in his constituency.
Terming Alemao as "a man of action and not just words", Furtado said that Alemao has not only brought about development but also "touched the lives of many families" in Navelim. "We have never seen development at such a fast pace anywhere else," Furtado said.
Flashing a copy of a souvenir published by the Navelim Citizens Committee on the occasion of Alemao's birthday celebrations recently, the Navelim sarpanch said, "All development works carried out by Churchill are here in the form of photographs. So there is no substance in the allegations made by Jina."
Referring to Jina's allegations pertaining to the delay in the inauguration of a school in Rumdamol, Naik said that the school would be inaugurated on June 6. "The inaugural function that was to be held on May 16 had to be postponed owing to Churchill's busy schedule. The false propaganda is being made owing to petty selfish interests and to derive cheap publicity," she said.

Let FARREL the Vice Charperson of GOA BOARD (courtesy Alemao) first take responsibility of the HSSCE marksgate. Bonder-s have now entered the precincts of the Goa Board. The programmers appointed are all off paid posts. Bottom Line: You can get a job with lakhs but not brains, and that too brains to write simple percentage logic in the Computer Programs.

One of the Churchill "loudmouths" and extension of his corruptness is Ms Farrell Furtado e` Gracias.
She is an ex failed MLA, and also has failed in her duties in the sports administrative dept. & responsibilities.
As she has not much more to gain, and as she has a damaged & questionable reputation, she clings to Churchill for dear life and respect.
By being associated with the corrupt & moneyed Churchill, who loves anyone that sings his praises, Farrell hopes to recover some of her lost reputation and power.
For all I know, Goa does not give a damn about her or her views.It may go down well in Varca & Churchill & Valanka...but not elsewhere in Goa.

There is nothing special about Ms Farrell Furtado.
All informatoion available about her, from every source inthe world, is negative and critical.There no praises or praise worthiness.
The only praise she got was from school kids.
IN order to get praise ,which she so desperately looking for & cannpot live without, her best & only option left, is to hang about and around the notorious smuggler of Varca & his faithful pigs.
It would have been nice to write something nice about Farrell.But there is nothing available.
NO doubt, Churchill must bestow upon her a lot of cash & goodies
