THREE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THEFT AT VALPOI

VALPOI: Three of the four suspects in connection with a theft case at Buimpal Satari have been arrested by police from their residents.  Devidas Utekar (25) Nazir Shaikh (21) and Nasir Shaikh (20) all native of Buimpal Satari were taken into custody by Valpoi Police in alleged theft case. Fourth suspect Keval Gaonker, is still on the run and police are in search of him.

 According to Valpoi Inspector Mr Shivram Vainganker four were involved in robbery case in which they enter the school premises on 9th January night by breaking the ventilation of main door and stolen one computer set, one hard disk and a motherboard from the school computer lab. Police believe that this gang is also involved in some petty thefts and were nabbed after receiving tip off from locals as they were on doubt over their suspicious roaming during late night.

Police team including PSI CL Naik, Head Constables Mr Ankush Sawant, Mr Umarye, Police Constables Sandeep Azgaonker and Mr Govind Gawas under the supervision of PI Shivaram Vainganker, arrested the three members under section 454, 457 and 380. After arresting the three suspects confessed to the crime and also disclosed the place where they have kept the robbed computer items. Some items like CPU, battery and monitor are recovered from the place.
