Having taken a stand that he is not a “Public Authority”, Goa’s Governor Dr.S.S.Sidhu could explain what exactly he is in his Republic day address on 26th January. If he fails or forgets he will have yet another opportunity on 31st January while addressing the budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly.
Politicians are known to be thick skinned. Dr Sidhu is not one. Known to be a very respectable bureaucrat with an outstanding record, he needs to publicly clear the air.
He owes it to the people of Goa. Otherwise he will go down in the history books for the very wrong reason - India’s first and only Governor to claim that he was not a “Public Authority”. A ludicrous and unprecedented stand taken by the Constitutional head of the State.

Its a shame that every Politician thinks he is above the law. Lets except it.This is the truth.
They think the law is meant for everyone except for themselves. The rescent Adarsh Nagar land co-op scams where Top Politicians, Army commanders have been involved is a eye opener as to the the level of their arrogance. To adv Aires please let the people know the truth. May this be a land mark Victory for all the people of Goa.
