BICHOLIM: Here are the facts of the case and I write this since I know the whole family of Geeta. As written in the report by different news papers in Goa about the facts, the story is distorted and reported as told to reporters by DySP Bossuet. Geeta's father is neither divorced nor is a bachelor.
Due to dispute, there is a separation of marriage and the house and other property is under dispute. Geeta and her mother lived there whereas the father lived with his new found concubine.
Somehow forging the documents, he tried to prove that the house is sold to Suman Shirodkar which is untrue. Suman and her husband entered the house by force and occupied it. Somehow after learning the reality, left the house and the real occupiers Geeta and her mother lived as usual.
Geeta's father along with Suman arranged this supari with the police who colluded illegally to drive the real co-owners and occupiers out by dragging by force. The court case is still ongoing and there are no strictures from the court for them to vacate or leave the house. the property is still a joint property of Geeta's parents and police has got no right to evict them by force and that too without notice or by force.
There was a battalion of 5 policemen and police women who came that night, fully armed with intention to cause harm. They, in front of the neighbors dragged them by force, pulling them by their hair in spite of helpless cries. One of the officer standing beside was taking instructions from DySP and was becoming more arrogant.
They were locked in their own house and beaten mercilessly for refusal to come out. It was past 10.00 pm and by almost midnight as the drama was going on, we saw the ambulance coming. The police started driving away the neighbors so to avoid any tangible witnesses. The ambulance stood there for few minutes and left without any siren blown. Word was spread that they fainted and later, the neighbors learnt that they were beaten mercilessly, kicked and made unconscious.
The police closed the doors of the house, left two constables and a jeep and left. In the morning, there was a different story circulated. As media men approached Bossuet, he was smilingly claiming it to be a false story and concluded by saying that no such force was used. Bossuet’s face was readable that it was a fixed plan that was carried out in darkness like how dacoits act.
It is understood that Geeta’s father along with Suman has bribed the police to a great extent and hence the illegal action, violation of human rights was carried out under the cover of darkness. Ezilda Sapeco and Bossuet are family friends and there is little hope that there will be justice from her. She is not even much interested when we approached here to follow the case intensively.
Geeta and her mother are still suffering from pain and bruises and the medical records are not yet out. It will be difficult for a fair medical report from GMC as Bossuet is used by Vishwajeet Rane to do his dirty work in Bicholim and are friends.
We beg Niz Goenkar to kindly help us to reach the truth to the highest police authority.

This Bossuet seems like a big time criminal...IN A POLICEMANS UNIFORM.

What I am reading about the "going ons" in Bicholim Police station is truly shocking.
It looks Goa is like a POLICE STATE.Also seems like the Cops work in tandem with the POliticians.
Niz Goenkar Editor, in the best interest of the readers and for the love of Goa should forward this article and request from neighbours to the Goa police through your own channels. When people, raders and Goenkar trust Niz Goenkar to expose corruption and help Goans, this is a fitting case. Niz Goenkar has an obligation to drive the devil and save Goans. I hope my humble request will be noticed by the Editor.

Dear Joel, we understand your sentiments and are working on this issue. Our main problem is that we do not know who these neighbours are. One of our team visited the place and tried to verify facts. But no one is ready to open their mouths. Niz Goenkar without the help of these neighbours cannot do much. But still we are trying to expose this incident as much as possible.
@Joel Baretto... Niz Goenkar are doing their best to offer moral and legal support to the victims of police brutality. This is a fit case of police high-handedness and human rights violations.
I think we should bring this case to the attention of Human Rights Watch.
Is there any record in the archives of police entering people's house and beating up the inmates and taking them to the hospital in an ambulance during the Portuguese era? I am a researcher of Indo-Portuguese history and would like to see such a record? Maybe, I should check with the Freedom Farters of Goa or Karmali.
Is his what our so called Liberators dreamed about? We have been dumped from the frying pan into the Fire. We have been delivered in to the hands of Indian habitual corrupt protectors of the Law “What Law”. As long we have some of these dirty low down police personnel eating crumbs of the hands of corrupt Politicians, Justice will never prevail for the poor and innocent. There are many decent police personal in Goa that would like to see Justice prevail but are suppressed by our corrupt politicians. We True Goans all over the world must put our differences aside and unite for a better change. God protect and Bless us all Goans regardless.
It is a shame of ladies being beaten up by the brutes Goa Police. Bossuet must remember that those days are gone when police could do anything and get away with it. Now it is the turn of the police to be punished and all the top bras of the police must be punished first.
We are very much elevated this morning when we received calls from our neighboring village asking to read Niz Goenkar. We are elevated because we are heard in this article. We see another article by Mr. Bebdo highlighting our plight. Make a point here, Geeta and mother were unconcious at home only but they were taken to the police station to wipe evidence that the ambulance picked them from home. We are told that they were beaten more at the police station thinking that they were faking unconciousness. I thank the editor of this electronic paper for giving a chance to the readers to know the true story. I hope someone will help the family. Geeta and her mother are told that they will receive medical reports through the police as they are the party who admitted them. Many politicians called the family but they are not ready to politicise the issue. There are also warnings given to the family to keep shut their tongues.
The victim should & the eyewitness should complain to the Police with the help of lawyer, then the case will proceed with the help of media a true Goan media.If the victim & the eyewitness complain then the case have ground. The medicals report will be changed for sure, this is outcome of the case and Goa is gone for Dogs.

Can you people help Niz Goenkar to help Geeta and her mother? Whatever evidence that can be collected like their photos specially where they were beaten up (marks on the body) etc and their full photos even clicked by mobile or some video clips even clicked by the mobile. Well and a good idea Menino. If these people can come forward, NG should step forward and assist them. I am sure, the identities of these people should be kept private or else the goonda raj will haras them. I am also sure, this issue is going to get political colour so NG has to be a bit cautious. Police are alreading the comments including their chamchas and family members.
@ Geeta's Neighbours we need more details as Menino has said, so we can help raise the matter at the highest level. The level of action to be taken cannot be discussed openly on this forum. The medical reports will be changed for sure with corrupt political pigs pressure.
The District Court can direct a medical examination to be held by a team of doctors. This is a Criminal case against the Police.

You cannot go back to a criminal to complain about their own crimes. They need to bypass them. Goa is ruled by a Mafia of Drug Cartel, Greedy Politicians and Land Sharks. Almost in line with Colombia and Mexico. The Police are being used for this purpose. They get some crumbs. But they do not realise that they will be in the dumps one day. Their 'bosses' will disown them, the Goan people will shun them. The Police are fools not to realise they are just being used, and that the benefits are short term.
