PERNEM: A 22-year-old Russian girl has filed a complaint of molestation with the Pernem police on Sunday. According to the information available with the Pernem police, the accused one Sai Kiran from Hyderabad has been arrested by the police in connection with the Russian girl’s case.
According to information available from sources, three persons were playing with a small ball on the Arambol beach when the ball rolled near the Russian girl who was seating on the beach. Sai Kiran went to collect the ball and started chatting with the girl. He asked her for a cigarette after which he allegedly molested her. The police are on the look out for the other two persons who were playing with the accused who has been arrested. It may be recalled that in January 2010, a Russian minor girl was allegedly raped on Arambol beach.
