The arrival of the Tall ship NRP SAGRES from Portugal seems to have caused a stir amongst the ruling class, and a foolish bunch of old retired freedom Fighters in Goa. The arrival has also been met by a bunch of clowns from the BJP and associated Political radicals.
Kamat, Siddhu & Karmali, will not even be remembered in the next 10-20 years. They will be nothing more than a miniscule bunch of irrelevant misfits of Goan history.
However on the other hand the NRP Sagres will outlive these clowns of Goa. It has been reported that it is fine for the Portuguese to attend the Liberation of Goa…but it is not fine to re- enact (replay) the Portuguese circum- navigation of the world. Purely a goodwill visit
The circumnavigation of the globe by the Portuguese has been in history books for the last 450 years and it will continue to do so for many more centuries.
Everyone has been taught and knows about Christopher Columbus and Sir Francis Drake and Vasco da Gama. These were great ancient Mariners that contributed to the history of the world.
Where in the scheme of History, history books, do Karmali, Kamat & Siddu think they will be remembered. The plain and simple answer in nowhere.
These 3 guys were simply scared of Goa`s madmen under the banner Freedom Fighters. They will be insignificant even in Goa and Goan history. Their contribution to Goa will not even occupy a paragraph and be negligible.
The Portuguese were purely enacting (ACTING) a period of remarkable history. They did not come to Goa to occupy it or take it over. Even the most illiterate, the most foolish, most drunk Goan will understand that.
However these 3 nondescripts, Kamat, Siddhu and Karamali, and a bunch of illiterate BJP hotheads and radicals thought otherwise.
The Portuguese we purely re-enacting, a major historical event in the discovery of a sea and trade route to India. India along with China was a major trading country 450 years ago.
The Portuguese only came to trade. However due to internal warring factions between Hindu and Muslim dynasties, they were asked to stay and help by the Hindus themselves. In return they were offered a Trading Post which they set up in Goa Velha. Thereafter peace reigned in Goa for centuries.
In time and historically, Siddu, Karmali and Kamat will not be seen as Diplomats or people of any great significance. Instead they will be most remembered for Looting, Buggering, raping and plundering Goa for themselves and their families.
Goa`s future generations will certainly belong to a globalised world where every nation respects each other.
The 3 clowns, who have declined to welcome the NRP Sagres will be seen as political lay abouts and criminals. Karmali, Kamat & Siddhu &co, you may now return to your Stone Age CAVES for the most irrelevant protest you have made.
Long live the FRIENDSHIP, PEACE & HARMONY BETWEEN GOA, INDIA & PORTUGAL. Let us all march forward. UNITED WE WILL STAND-DIVIDED WE WILL FALL.

These so called BJP clowns, Siddu,Karmali and Kamat who protested against the visit of NRP Sagres are destroyers of communal peace. These guys are not fit to clean the old piggy style toilets; in fact they should replace the pigs. Where are these farts hiding, and why are they not standing to the corrupt regime of Goa. Why are the not liberating Goa from Rapes, Murders, robberies and drug dealers?
I like the way N. Fernandes scrutinizes the situations. Very brilliant and what you have mentioned above is truly correct. The three of them should go and see the celebrations in Loutolim to show love for the ship which arrived here. As for pillai he should resign or should be court martialled for not following the international norms. pillai you are not fit to be in that position in the navy.

A person who does not know history, nor diplomacy, nor governance, nor speak fluent English (forget not knowing Portuguese), is unfit to make courtesy calls. They would feel out of place on 'Sagres'.
It was the Hindus from the Vijaynagara empire who were fighting the Shahi dynasty who asked the Portuguese to drive the Muslim Shahis out from Goa. Timoja, the admiral of the Vijaynagara empire, in fact directed Afonso de Albuquerque to the banks of the Mandovi river and when the armada had to stay in the sea for a few months before the attack, food and water was supplied to them by the Hindu villagers of Taleigao.
Had it not been for the Portuguese, Goa would have been a part of Karnataka today and not Maharashtra.
I wonder if these jerks they called themselves as Freedom Fighters do know or understand the meaning of good will or Friendship. They should be called Hypnic or sleeping jerks because they cannot see all the other corrupt atrocities being committed in Goa and turn a blind eye to it. If they had a slight flicker of nerve in their heads, they would not have come out to protest against the Portuguese Naval ship being docked in Goa rather vouch their support for the anti-corruption campaign. These people are just illiterate and not far away as of the 40 chors and depend on their bread crumbs
Some monkeys will not understand the ground reality of the situation. Half of the protestors are ignorant of the historical facts. They are the famous "Rostad" who are paid to be there.
