ANJUNA: The main accused in the murder of Samprit Malvankar has been arrested by the Anjuna police. The accused Dinesh Kanuya was arrested at Mumbai by a team of Anjuna police led by PSI Anant Gaonkar.

The accused will be brought to Goa on Monday and case will be investaged further. The Anjuna police have earlier arrested Prashant Kondulkar, Dattaram Salgaonkar, Suraj Govekar, Srikant Salgaonkar, Yogesh Salgaonkar, Ajit Kambli, Tukaram Salgaonkar, Harish Mandvilkar and Laxman Salgaonkar, all of them co-accused in the Samprit Malvankar murder and was on look out of the main accused Dinesh. Samprit (23) from Ghumal Vaddo, Anjuna, was shot dead by an unknown person in a bar at Anjuna on September 22.
