CM Should Act. Its Now or Never by Menino de Valpoi

In the recent assembly session Chief Minister Digambar Kamat on Monday assured the House that the government would give preference to Goans in security jobs as Opposition took on him for allowing them to be grabbed by non-Goans. He was responding to the question put up by Mr. Parsekar the MLA of Mandrem. Mr. Parsekar refuted along with other opposition members that the jobs in the security should go to the Goans only.

May I ask which Goans are you talking about Mr. Chief Minister? Are you talking about your Goans who came down from Karwar, Belgaum etc and who registered their offsprings birth here in Goa? If you really mean Goans and have even little love left in your black heart for the real Goans, then make sure that you check their roots in the birth registers of the Portuguese era, where the Portuguese registered the genuine Goans and left the Country. Check out on the roots of the candidates. The real Goans are living in misery and all the Karwaris, belgaumkars and rest karnatak-kars, maharashtrakars, some other KARS and those with the names Patils, agarwals, choudaries, srivastavs, devappas, kallappas etc. are enjoying our places. Make sure that you do the check up very well and employ the real, genuine, original sons and daughters of Goa in the security services. Otherwise play hide and seed with your words like a monkey and sell away the jobs to the above mentioned outsiders.

The chief minister was also trying to explain that the locals were not available for the jobs when the reality is that the local are roaming in search of jobs and they cannot get one. Where did the chief minister learn that Goans were not available for jobs? How could he know that the Goans are not available for security jobs? The reason is simple. Digamber never bothered to check on whether Goans are available or no. Since he is totally reliant on the migrants or ghanttis it never occurred him to bother on checking whether locals are available or no.

Our youth be they Catholics, Hindus or Muslims roam around Goa in search of jobs but they do not get any. The private companies do not hire the Local Goans. They get their own migrant Ghantti work force. Goans are rejected. It is high time that these companies are rejected and thrown out of Goa if they do not employ the locals and according to their educational qualifications. The CM should look into this angle and act strictly.

It is not enough to be just a CM and do nothing for the people of Goa. Digamber should be very careful on how he talks and what he talks. All the eyes are watching ears are hearing. It is time to act in the right direction now or if the Goans rise up in revolution, even your Indian army won’t be able to control them. These are some of the miseries brought in by the so called
LIBERATION OF GOA. ITS NOW OR NEVER.

Menino here I am. Every year successful governments celebrate "Goa Liberation Day " I for one don't. Not even while I was in Goa. In the 60s my elders they preferred the Portuguese Rule, It was hard but all got fed well and the Law was Law. Goa was clean and controlled at the time. Then came the time for the opinion poll that was one big fight. As students we had to teach our elders in the village how to put an axe on the voting paper and fold it. We would travel to various places in Goa. We would stop anyone and ask "Do you know how and who to vote" Coming from Margao we would cycle as far as Ponda on bicycle to meet DR Jack Sequera and his son Erasmo. On one of our campaigns to Vasco we were caught off gaurd and attacked by Marathi goons, where I received my stitches. We were no saints we did fight back with equal force. That didn't stop us there we kept our campaign on. We won the battle but the war is still to be won. "Liberation of Goa" are three words that mean nothing to the three letters GOA. "Young Goan Blood" need to rise now before "Goa is doomed for Goans" and benefit the gantis. There is a time bomb waiting to explode.
