Constable Chandru Gawde, a driver to a senior crime branch officer had his own plans in life, but was cut short due to the harassment by corrupt officers he was working with. Desperation lead him to take this drastic step. In his dying declaration Chandru has reportedly named a few senior officers for harassing him.
Police officers linked with notorious drug lords Atala and Dudu, the death of Cipriano, prostitution rackets etc are still being taken care by the Goa Government. So, would any action be taken on these officers responsible for Chandru’s death?
I salute the honesty and loyalty shown by Chandru to his profession and, my heartfelt sympathies to his family members.

Hi Severes, how can the Goa government take action on the officers responsible for Chandru's death. The corrupt Goan government and the chor police of Goa are symbiotic species living together to their mutual benefit.
When birds of a feather flock together the outcome is what we are seeing to day.Nexus between the police and politician, police and criminals , drug dealers and politicians/police this is the order of the day. Each one of them protecting the other to safe guard their own interests. This is the reason cases against these people fail in the eyes of law, which in-fact tends to favor the criminals then the victim. Current state of affairs has proven this statement.Unless this tie up is broken nothing will change.We need to break this league for a better future.
