CORRUPTION HAS DESTROYED GOA BEYOND RECOGNITION by Alex D’Souza

It is not unusual to hear politicians, at every level, accusing each other of being corrupt. Most recently it is Damu Naik that has accused the Alemao brothers of being involved in deep corruption and other illegal activities. Further on Ravi Naik has accused the BJP of being involved in corruption and other illegal activities.
Besides that, another politician Mr. Narvekar, who has lost his influence within his own party can also be observed to be firing in all possible directions. Furthermore, a self resurrected politician, Mr. Pacheco, who has just finished licking his wounds, is coming out with yet more lists of corruption and illegal activities allegations. The list is endless.
What is surprising is that all these politicians, that are possessing the knowledge of corruption and illegal activities that their counterparts are involved in, themselves do nothing about it. In other words, it is crystal clear that such politicians that bring up information about the corruption and illegal activities of others are themselves criminals when they choose not to follow up the matter, they themselves have actively risen. After all, it is against the law not to act when one possesses information about corruption and illegal activities. Even the media in Goa has not been efficient enough to systematically follow up on such information so as to ensure that the culprits involved are thoroughly reported on. All this suggests that everyone is involved in systematically destroying Goa, step by step.
To top it all, the so called central Government of India has done nothing credible to stop criminal activities happening in Goa. When we notice such behaviour from the so called central Government of India, it is appropriate to ask some key questions. What is the purpose of the central Government in India? What are its objectives? Who are the people that form the central Government of India and what is their character? Every citizen of India, having a good character, can easily answer these questions. You don’t have to dig deep to find out that most of the people that form the central Government of India are themselves involved in various criminal cases at different levels. This proves beyond doubt that these so called central (criminals) politicians will never be able to tame the local (criminal) politicians. Therefore corruption and criminal / illegal activities have flourished and thus have become a way of life throughout India.
There is not a single thing happening in Goa, without it being corrupt, criminal and illegal. The politicians are robbing Goans, the Government employees are robbing Goans, and the Government departments are robbing Goans. The corruption has spread so much, that we cannot even buy food or essential commodities that are free from corruption or adulteration / duplication. Even the sick and the dying are forced to surrender themselves to corrupt doctors and hospitals that operate, more focused on profits at all costs, rather than to concentrate on the welfare of the patients. The day is not far away, when every Goan will have to purchase some sort of a stabilisor to protect us from the corrupt criminals that are freely and fearlessly operating in Goa, just like how we purchase voltage stabilizers today to guard our personal electric items from the unreliable and corrupt, Government electricity department.
Now the bottom line is, Why did India invade Goa (Portuguese territory) ? Did the majority of peace loving Goans approach the Indian Government to invade our territory and free us from Portugal? What was the purpose behind the invasion? What plans did India have for Goa (Portuguese territory) ? Let us assume that India invaded Goa (Portuguese territory) to ensure that all Goans enjoy a free, peaceful and prosperous life. If this was the real intention of India then where is the freedom, peace and prosperity? India has transformed our beautiful Goa into a paradise for criminals. India, by invading Goa (Portuguese territory) has done nothing good for betterment of Goans, instead it has ruined Goa, (which was once a prosperous and a well managed place) by encouraging every enterprising criminal within India, to loot and degrade Goa.
How long should we tolerate this? - Tumcho mogall, - Alex

Every Honest Goan is frustrated about crime and corruption in Goa, But Is there a will to do something about it? Yes but obstacles are in the way such as Politician's Crumb eaters, Politicians Hired thugs, politician -drug dealing gangs , who do not have boundaries in eliminating the opposition. To eliminate these fears Goans need to unite in a show of force, as it is taking place in many other countries where governments are brought down.
