PANJIM: Goa police has filed a chargesheet against a Bhopal-based businessman, accused of molesting a 25-year-old Russian woman on the state's Calangute beach. The chargesheet was filed yesterday within 48 hours of the incident, which occurred on Tuesday evening.
49-year-old Prakash Chand Jain was arrested the same night by Calangute police following a complaint lodged by the Russian after she was allegedly molested while bathing in the seawaters. The accused was beaten up by a mob at the beach when the victim raised an alarm.
In the chargesheet filed before Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Mapusa, the accused has been charged under sections 323 (causing hurt), 354 (outraging modesty) and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the Indian Penal Code.
The woman, who is holidaying in Goa along with a group of Russians, had said that she will be leaving the country in next four days.
Police officials said the chargesheet has been filed because it would be difficult to get her testimony before the court later, if she leaves for Russia. - PTI

" Molester Jain" if you flash money you could set yourself free of the crime you committed. That is the history of our Goan Judicial system when cases are presented in our Courts.
I hope he does not get accquited,by stating that he sufered from "diminished responsibility", due to the Union Carbide tragedy.
