PANJIM: A Russian tourist has complained that a thief molested her in her rented apartment and looted valuables running in several lakhs at Colva, 40 kms from Panjim, during the wee hours of Wednesday.
The 32-year-old victim in her complaint letter to the Colva police said that the thief entered her apartment via balcony and robbed her belongings. "The thief, who is unidentified as of now, molested the woman while she was in deep sleep after committing theft," said a police officer on terms of anonymity.
A case under sections 457 (house trespass or house breaking), 380 (theft) and 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against unknown person. "We will launch a manhunt to trace the unknown accused, soon after the Russian victim gives some description about him. In the meantime, suspects will be rounded up," said the officer. --IBNS

This is a typical welcome to foreign tourists into Goa. There should be a freeze to tourism until Goa is made safe for Goans and foreigners alike. If Goans cannot be protected in their own homes how can our government protect tourists?
If one goes to Kentuckee, the molester cum rapist will be spotted. That's the gangspot to learn about soft and loose targets.
