INCOME TAX RAIDS PACHECO’S RESIDENCE CUM OFFICE
September 9- Income tax sleuths have joined the CBI in raiding the house cum office of NCP legislature and former tourism minister Micky Pacheco. The Income Tax department officials raided Micky’s house cum office at Betalbatim while CBI officials continued their search. Documents, details of accounts were seized by the Sleuths.
Around 15 CBI officers raided Pachecos residence on Wednesday, looking out for documents vis-à-vis immigration. Terming the allegations as politically motivated, the former minister said that he has nothing to worry about and all the records and documents will be made available to the investigating authorities.
POLICE NAB DANGEROUS GANG AT CALANGUTE
Mapusa, September 9- Calangute police caught an ill-famous gang of three who used to loot people at gunpoint. As a major step in curbing the gang menace in Calangute area, the police were successful in catching a gang of three while one of the gang members managed to escape. The three nabbed culprits hail from Siolim. The gang has looted many people at gun point as of now. Police have recovered weapons , choppers , pistol & car used by the culprits (DG)

These guys seem to be in this business for a long time. I did hear of them couple of months ago that some miscreants are mugging tourists at gun point. This are some dangerous incidents that tarnish this states tourism. Complimento, to the guys who got them and ensure that they don't dissappear from the toilet.
